The quarantine brought a huge number of information security events to the Internet. I manage to peek at some, I have to miss some, but there are those that should be in the must visit category for any leader in the field of information security.
One of them is Intensive IB Profi Code, which in 2020 consists of three modules and 18 topics that maximize the topic of information security management.
The first module was held at the end of March, gathering at 20 master classes of information security professionals from all over the country (by the way, those who did not qualify can purchase all the records of the master classes right now this link or, for example, see notes the first and second day of event).
Before the organizers had time to exhale, the preparation of the second module was already in full swing.
Thanks to quarantine, a completely new format of intensive was born. On the one hand, we will enable the maximum number of information security professionals from different corners of not only the country, but the entire Russian-speaking space to join online expert workshops and dive into all 6 topics that we selected for the second module. On the other hand, we will gather those who need not only knowledge, but also well-developed skills for responding to incidents in a small group in Sochi and conduct two-day cyber instructions, ”project producer Olga Pozdnyak shares his plans.
So, in the upcoming module, six key topics are announced:
- incident management;
- Security Operations Management
- staff safety;
- service model in information security;
- physical security;
- access control.
Four hour master classes from those who, at the cost of their own trial and error, have gained invaluable experience and are ready to share it, will be presented on each topic.
Among the speakers are those who are not the first time to "shine" on the "board of honor", for example, Yandex Security Director Anton Karpov, as well as those who are not so familiar to the general public, but are no less competent from this.
Those participants who choose an online format for themselves will receive not only access to all the master classes of the module, but also an annual subscription to the updated resource IB Code ACADEMY, consisting of 24 modules on all the main topics of IS management.
Those who do not limit themselves to online workshops and come to cybercourses in Sochi will be able to appreciate all the charms of an updated format: a small group of 50 people, an open space in the mountain Olympic village of Rosa Khutor resort with stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains and easy access to experts will not allow only take the maximum of the event professionally, but also change the situation after quarantine imprisonment.
The cherry on the cake for those who come to Sochi will be the opportunity to stay on the IB Code ADVENTURE project in the format of one, two, three or all four days and experience the charms of sea fishing, and the incredible landscapes of the Caucasus Mountains during a hiking trip, and the coolness of the mountain river and tropical thickets during canyoning and, of course, the incredible beauty of Abkhazia, where participants will go in jeeps on the last day.
“With all our wishes, we won’t be able to accept more than 300 participants online, because the platform’s restrictions are in force, and no more than 50 participants in Sochi, because the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor cannot be circumvented,” continues Olga Pozdnyak.
Therefore, everyone who decides to join the project is recommended not to wait until the last, but now to book tickets on the official website events and get "first row".
